Why We Use WordPress

Posterous_wordpress

As one of the East Midland’s leading digital agencies, we’ve had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of clients on some really interesting projects.  Often when we are asked to develop a website we turn to WordPress because it allows us to build flexible, easy-to-use websites that look great and provide engaging functionality.

What we like most about WordPress is that we can develop creative sites that are customisable, so every site meets our clients’ needs.  Also, the content management system is easy-to-use and SEO friendly, which helps administrators manage the website.

For years we’ve been using WordPress to develop websites for some of our most well-known clients, including TalkTalk, Pfizer and Sage.  Join the growing list of brands that are turning to WordPress, and learn more about how our WordPress developers can help you improve your online presence.

Cite launches OMS website

Oms_website_posterous

We’ve just launched a new website for OMS, a training course provider in the UK.  The site, which was built in Joomla, allows visitors to browse the course catalogue, make individual or group bookings, and pay online. The website also features a blog, Twitter feed, and informative videos.

To help administrators with the management of this large website, the content-management system was developed to automatically pull in the correct course logo and video.  Administrators can also disable functionality on each course entry, so every course page is specific to the needs of the OMS staff and visitors.

Check out the OMS training website and let us know what you think.

Why Cite likes Joomla

Joomla_posterous
As a leading digital agency in the East Midlands, we’ve developed a lot of great websites for our clients. One of our favourite pieces of software is Joomla because of its flexibility and easy-to-use content management system.

For years our web developers have been using Joomla to create websites that provide visitors with interesting functionality that keeps them coming back. From integrating social media feeds to interactive tools, Joomla allows us to develop a website to its full potential while also making it a unique web experience.

From an administrator’s perspective, Joomla’s easy-to-use content management system allows companies to update their websites quickly and without hassle, keeping them in control of their content.

With the likes of McDonalds, eBay, and IKEA using Joomla, the software has become a leader in website development.  Learn more about how our Leicester-based Joomla developers can give you the same great quality in your company’s website without the cost.

Cite uses Magento for E-commerce Sites

Magento_posterous
Over 80% of UK Internet users shop online, spending £20 billion this year alone, and the numbers are expected to continue growing. That's an opportunity companies can't afford to miss out on.

At Cite we've developed many e-commerce websites for some of Leicestershire's leading brands.  Our preferred e-commerce software is Magento because of its capabilities and security. Whether we're integrating social media feeds, SEO, or an easy-to-use content management system, Magento allows us to create bespoke e-commerce solutions for businesses of all sizes.

Magento is used by some of the world's biggest brands, including T-mobile, Interflora, and Ford, so we provide the same software major compaines use without the cost. For more information about Magento, visit our website.

Blogging can contribute to your website Google ranking

By regularly contributing to your website blog you can gradually add to your Google ranking, thus improving your Google search engine position.

One such service that Cite are responsible for is Bond Street Select's smart car blog. Started in March this year, Cite have contributed 40 blogs entries. These stories and news related articles have encouraged visitor traffic to the website, thus introducing new potential customers to the client who often take the time to look at the services on offer.

Sjs_for_posteroous

The Cite office has been very busy this week and we've just launched a great new website for SJS Carpet Cleaning. The site was built in WordPress and includes an easy-to-use navigation system that highlights their various services, and a design that matches the overall company image.  The website also features a blog, Twitter feed, and client testimonial.

In addition to designing and building the site, we also wrote the copy for it, all of which was tailored to optimise search engine results.  We will continue to work with SJS on the search engine optimisation for this website as well as their carpet consultancy site.
